The New Nettle's Tale Shop

A retail story that’s good for the environment, local economy and fashion industry? Not exactly what’s making headlines these days. But we like to think of ourselves as the little shop that could...defying the COVID odds with a growing, small business - thanks to so many loyal customers in our community like you!

This April, we upgraded our shop to a new location, more than double the size of our previous shop (and just down the block!). We want to be your new homebase for sustainable and size inclusive clothing, which is why we’re now carrying a range of local brands with similar values. 

We’ve learned so much from running our first Nettle’s Tale shop and wanted to find ways to make our space more size inclusive when it comes to apparel. We’re so excited and proud to be selling products from Vancouver favourites like Revol Undies, Decade Denim, and Generous Clothing in store. Consider us your one-stop shop for ethically made, size-inclusive fashion! 

We want to continue to create community where mid-size and plus size bodies feel they belong. This recent quote from Julia really sums up our vision for the new shop:

“I want more people to have apparel options specifically made for their bodies. Especially those people who don’t fit straight-sized clothing. I want the shop to be a place you can feel good about what you try on and take home with you. These clothes and this space are for you.”
